StarVista's values of respect, passion, partnerships, accountability, innovation and integrity foster an agency culture of support and growth.PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:This is a 2-year pilot partnership between San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) and 4 police departments: San Mateo, Foster City, North Fair Oaks, and Millbrae. This position responds to 911 calls that involve one or more individuals that may be exhibiting behaviors consistent with mental illness or substance abuse. POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:The position requires a 40-hour work week. Shifts are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. The schedule for each city will depend on each department's highest call volume. Clinicians will be provided office space/equipment, a cell phone, and a police radio to respond to calls. This is a co-response model; a clinician and a police officer will be dispatched to the scene of all calls of those identified as suffering from a mental health crisis.PId93c7dde4bf5-37820-31640215
