Job Description:

Blazerworks, in collaboration with a reputable school district in San Bruno, CA, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. As a trusted partner, we are committed to providing high-quality occupational therapy services to students within the district. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting occupational therapy assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Implement individualized therapeutic interventions to help students improve their fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and self-care abilities
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and functional success
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and parents on implementing strategies to promote students' occupational development
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Valid California license or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and interventions used in occupational therapy Benefits:
