Year Up is seeking enthusiastic candidates for our Technical Support Training Opportunity, a structure designed to equip young adults with the necessary skills and knowledge in technical support. This one-year program blends academic coursework with hands-on technical experience to prepare participants for real-world IT environments. Trainees will benefit from Year Ups comprehensive support system and will have the opportunity to apply their skills in internships with leading companies. Attend all training sessions and actively engage in learning opportunities Assist with troubleshooting software and hardware issues Learn and apply technical support protocols and procedures Work collaboratively with team members to solve complex problems Complete hands-on projects and internships with partner businesses Adhere to all guidelines and maintain a professional approach at all times Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues Proficiency in English and strong communication skills Excellent problem-solving and time management skills Aptitude for learning new technology quickly Completion of Year Up training program certifies competencies in technical support; additional certifications like CompTIA IT Fundamentals can be pursued during the program.
