Job Description:Our client is hiring a highly skilled and experienced Wireless Architect to join their team on a remote basis. This role is critical for driving technology design, implementation, execution, and optimization for customer projects/accounts. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to plan, design, configure, and diagnose a comprehensive suite of products, services, and solutions, accelerating customer outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to engage in pre-sales activities, translate business requirements into solution designs, and ensure alignment of technical deliverables to customer business outcomes. The role demands a blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills, making it ideal for an individual passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems.Responsibilities:

• Work extensively with customers along with internal and external resources on the strategy/deployment/optimization of services and solutions.
• Take a leadership role in the execution of delivery projects and improve solutions and methods developed in the field for wider practice adoption.
• Create, review, and approve project deliverables such as Design Recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, and Implementation/Change Management Plans.
• Build and/or leverage test environments as required to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues.
• Contribute to the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g., scripts, digital signatures) and act as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements.
• Assure proper and quick resolution of complex customer problems across a suitable range of technologies.
• Collaborate with other Consulting Engineers in appropriate technology domains to ensure optimal use of resources to meet customer needs.
• Provide input to Sales teams in creating and demonstrating technology solutions to customers and engage with sales teams on pre-sales activities.Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a BSc in Computer Science or equivalent plus 5-8 years of relevant work experience. An advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Wireless Network Consulting Engineer/Architect, supporting Enterprise WLAN and/or Service Provider Wi-Fi accounts.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Cisco WI-FI portfolio, 9800 Wireless Controllers, APs, Cisco Spaces, BLE, and Catalyst Center.
  • Experience with Meraki MR design and deployment, including working knowledge of Meraki MX SDWAN deployment.
  • Robust RF Design background, including distribution center designs, troubleshooting, and operation.
  • Understanding of the ISE product line as it pertains to WI-FI deployments.
  • Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting and/or Network solution designing of Cisco WI-FI solutions.
  • Scripting knowledge in Python, Perl is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and customers.
  • Preferred certifications - CCIE (Preferred), CCIP, CCNA, CCNP.
