  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in the Java programming language.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
  • 2 years of experience in Android development.Preferred qualifications:
    • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
    • 1 year of experience with Kotlin development.
    • Experienced in working with code and system health, diagnosing and resolving issues, and applying software test engineering practices.

The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.       • Write product or system development code.
      • Deliver visible, consumer-facing Playstore functionalities, taking them from experimentation to production launch.
        
      • Design and develop key android client-side features on the Play Store to enhance the user experiences across Apps homepage, details page, and search journeys.
        
      • Collaborate with Product and UX teams to develop and optimize features for the Play Store.Ensure solutions scale effectively across verticals, geographies, and content categories over time.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
