    We empower Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) by ensuring the reliable, scalable, and efficient life-cycle management of our entire hardware infrastructure. We manage the compute server life-cycle from evaluation and adoption to automation, monitoring, and repair across both Connected (GDCc) and Air-Gapped (GDCag) environments, providing a critical hardware abstraction layer. We work closely with the Product Managers and supply chain on NPI to technically evaluate, plan, and integrate new compute SKUs (servers and racks) into GDC. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     • Work closely with the Supply Chain team to define and implement strategies for component selection (e.g., GPUs, CPUs, memory, storage, networking, power, thermal solutions).
    • Ensure selected components meet technical specifications, cost goals, and supply chain resilience requirements.
    • Collaborate deeply with these teams to understand their performance requirements, software-hardware co-design needs, and future architectural demands.
    • Provide technical leadership on complex hardware projects, driving technical excellence and innovative solutions.
