Providing specialized physical therapy services to a middle school student with a traumatic brain injury, this contract opportunity offers a focused and rewarding experience in an educational setting. The role requires delivering one-on-one support, ensuring tailored interventions that promote the students physical development and participation in school activities. Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 physical therapy support to a middle school student with a traumatic brain injury Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Document student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed Maintain a supportive and safe environment for the student during sessions Participate in periodic reviews to optimize care strategies Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with school-based experience Demonstrated expertise working with pediatric populations, particularly students with neurological impairments Strong communication and collaborative skills for effective teamwork Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs Commitment to ethical and patient-centered care Location and Schedule: This contract position is based in San Pablo, CA, with 1-2 hours of therapy per month provided to the student.
