Job Description Dentist - Sacramento, CA Job Type: Permanent job Schedule: Mon-Fri (Days) Setting: Outpatient | Community Health / FQHC Job Summary Seeking a dedicated Dentist to provide high-quality care in a community health setting serving diverse and underserved populations. Ideal for candidates comfortable with steady patient volume and team-based care. Key Responsibilities Perform exams, diagnose, and treat dental/oral conditions Develop and implement treatment plans or refer to specialists Educate patients on oral health and preventive care Collaborate with dental team on care plans Supervise dental assistants and hygienists Qualifications DDS or DMD from CODA-accredited school Active California Dental License (unrestricted) Board Certified (preferred) DEA registration (X-waiver required) BLS/CPR certification 2 years experience preferred (FQHC/community health a plus) EPIC EMR experience preferred Workload & Expectations ~3 patients per hour (20-min visits) 2 telehealth visits/day Admin time built into schedule Chart completion within 72 hours Manage inbox (labs, refills, patient messages) Benefits 403B with 4% employer match (immediate vesting) Medical, Dental, Vision (multiple plan options) HRA FSA options Life & AD&D insurance (company paid) PTO: 4 weeks holidays Malpractice with tail coverage Additional voluntary benefits available
