Details - Home health setting providing therapy services to patients in their homes - Serving a diverse patient population with varying therapeutic needs - Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Requires travel between patient residences - Epic charting experience is preferred Requirements - Active CA Physical Therapist (PT) license required if applicable - Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required - Valid Class C driver's license and automobile insurance required - Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience - Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program - Ability to perform physical activities and meet mental and visual demands of home health setting - Strong critical thinking, independent problem solving, and communication skills - Must submit 2 professional references from the past year for consideration - Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing Additional Information - Position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and development of treatment protocols - Responsibilities include training, education, and competency assessment development - Return staff must have at least a one-year break before returning as a traveler - Only one holiday time-off request will be approved during the contract - Modules are completed during orientation through e-learning and may require up to 16 hours - Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rate - Locals are accepted at a local rate American Traveler Job ID P-665121.
