Occupational Therapist Location: Santa Cruz, CA Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,182 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position ID: 75921189 Shift: 8H Days 8 hour days Description: Unit Therapies, Cardiac Rehab bedsIP & OP -travelers will work IP for OT, PT, and SpeechCertsBLSEMRCernerCharge NurseManager availalble 7 days a week, works M-F mostly with alternating weekendsNurse AidesIP has one rehab aideWeekend RequirementEvery other Sat or Sun, 2 weekend days in a 4 week schedule, would love someone who could do all weekends, will have day off during week on the weeks they work a weekend shiftHolidaysthey have sign up sheet, will fill in holiday holes Scrub ColorBlack or dark colored pants, burgundy dress shirts or polos TelePhillipsHospitalist or Intensivist in houseYesIV TeamNoRT 24/7YesPharmacy 24/7YesShifts8 hr shifts, hours are varied, start at 6:30am people staying until 6:30pm with a 30 min lunch break, schedule made by staffing captainFloatingFloat between units of hospital and to acute rehab Floor specific orientation1 day hospital orientation and then 2-3 days of unit orientationCommon diagnosis / Types of patientsspinal cord injuries, TBI, stroke, cardiac rehab, ortho, etc.Additional Notes3-5 years exp preferred, must have 2 years of acute experience, open to first time travelers, must have experience with ortho, neuro, and cardiac, ICU experience preferred, Speech - must be able to do bedside swallow, experience with modified barium swallow studies preferred, must be able to do cogntion. Spanish speaking candidates preferred. experience in OP or home health preferred.exp with physical disabilities preferred, they do get pediatrics but this is not required for travelers, pediatric patients include lyhmpedema, vestibular, wound care, -travelers not required to have experience with this with pediatrics Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN License to Trauma Level: Care Acute Shift Notes:8 hour days Required Certification, COVID Vaccine Required (Certification) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Weeks:91 Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Core Exam - Allied/Non-Nursing Ishihara Colorvision Screening MLH Occupational Therapist Job Description Occupational Therapist Skills Checklist Occupational Therapy Exam
