Job Description:
Job Role: Medical Assistant Location: San Jose, CA Job Type: 3
Months – 40 hours weekly shift. Schedule: Standard shift -
40hrs/week (8*5) Local Pay range: $28 - $30/hr. on W2 Job
Description: · Assist providers with participant care, including
check-in/out, room setup, and medical history intake · Measure and
document vital signs; assist with exams and basic medical
procedures (e.g., dressing changes, suture removal) · Prepare lab
specimens and sterilize equipment per clinic protocols · Triage
walk-in participant needs as directed · For float MAs: manage
specialist schedules proactively, prep patient information, and
document care provided · Maintain logs for emergency carts, medical
supply levels, vaccine refrigeration, and sharps containers ·
Perform COVID testing as needed (staff and non-staff) · Document
care and deliver patient education per provider guidance · Ensure
exam rooms are fully stocked, sanitized, and ready for each
participant.
