Job Summary
Monitors compliance with policies and processes and ensures work
meets quality standards. Responsible for assigned staff scheduling,
timekeeping, training, goal setting and performance
evaluations.
The Supervising Case Manager is part of the Behavioral Health
Services team at the 1930 Market Street Services Center. The
Supervising Case Manager is responsible for providing
administrative and clinical supervision to Social Work Associate
staff, be responsible for contract compliance coordination, as well
as carry a small caseload of counseling and case management clients
living with co-occurring diagnoses of substance abuse issues and
severe mental illness. This position will also involve providing
substance use individual/group counseling as well as intensive
clinical case management services to clients who have been
non-engaged in their medical care (particularly HIV medical care)
and addressing the psychosocial barriers to clients engaging in,
and maintaining, their treatment adherence.. This position is part
of a larger multidisciplinary behavioral health services team that
includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers,
therapists, substance use counselors and case managers.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional
approvals based on UC policy.Your placement within the salary range
is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience
and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement
within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the
collective bargaining agreement.The salary range for this position
is $78,900 - $167,300 (Annual Rate).To learn more about the

The Alliance Health Project (AHP) provides a wide range of mental
health services to persons living with HIV/AIDS, as well as members
of the LGBTQ community living with serious mental health
challenges. AHP also provides publications and trainings for health
care professionals and volunteers. Since AHP's founding in 1984,
AHP has served thousands of clients, counselors and clinicians,
justifying its reputation as one of the leading HIV and LGBTQ
mental health agencies in San Francisco -- a reputation achieved by
