Job DescriptionWe are seeking a visionary and results-driven
executive to join our HR leadership team as the Vice President of
Global Talent Management. This pivotal role reports to the CHRO and
is the primary strategist for Talent Management. This role leads
and oversees the development and implementation of transformative
talent strategies, cultivation of exceptional leaders, and
fostering of a unified organizational culture on a global scale to
drive sustainable business growth. This role has a significant
positive impact on business success and provides thought leadership
and benchmark practices to drive excellence in all facets of the
employee life cycle. This role acts as a strategic partner who
collaborates closely with executive business leaders and HR
Business Partners to align talent initiatives with organizational
priorities.Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and execute a forward-looking, comprehensive global
talent management strategy that directly supports Renesas'
organizational goals and embeds a culture of excellence.
- Design and manage a robust executive leadership development
framework to cultivate a diverse and future-ready leadership
pipeline. Provide strategic coaching and mentorship to senior
leaders, enabling maximum organizational impact.
- Spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge
learning initiatives tailored to accelerate employee growth,
enhance skills, and drive career progression across a global
workforce.
- Serve as a thought leader by developing key performance
indicators and workforce analytics to provide insight and
perspective to leadership and work in a collaborative way to
monitor performance and anticipate potential talent gaps.
- Provide strong leadership in the areas of organizational
performance, development and training, and inspire Renesas
employees to achieve elevated levels of performance and
productivity.
- Develop and lead innovative solutions related to employee
engagement, leadership assessment and development, and performance
management, driving higher performance through a simplified,
strategic, and data-driven approach.
- Build specific engagement programs with existing company-wide
resources, including recognition programs, talent development
programs, career progression mapping and more.
- Responsible for internally building a specific talent
development curriculum focusing on early career, mid-career, and
emerging and senior leadership. This includes programs that
identify, nurture, and advance top talent, ensuring a seamless
succession pipeline for critical leadership roles.
- Leverage advanced analytics to derive actionable insights,
refine talent management strategies, and monitor program
effectiveness to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Develop and deploy impactful communication strategies to ensure
global organization-wide engagement and alignment with talent
management initiatives.Qualifications
- 15+ years of professional experience in progressive HR roles
with technical domain expertise in Talent Management and 5 years in
a senior leadership position.
- Proven record of leading a high-performing, innovative global
talent management team.
- An ideal candidate would have had global roles in the high-tech
industry at various levels of maturity and is able to quantify
success in each environment.
- Demonstrated understanding and proven experience in what it
takes to support and drive organizational and behavioral
change.
- Has delivered best practices in all facets of talent
management, leadership development, succession planning,
performance management, organizational change and integration,
talent retention and engagement.
- Expertise across a broad spectrum of HR disciplines and tools.
Comprehensive knowledge and leadership of diverse HR functions, and
preferably HR business partner experience at a strategic
level.
- Proven expertise in vendor selection, negotiation, and
management, fostering strong, strategic partnerships to drive
business outcomes.
- Extensive experience in developing partnerships with academic
institutions, such as universities and other learning
organizations, to promote innovation, research collaboration, and
talent development initiatives.
- Possesses courage of conviction with the willingness to oversee
challenging decisions. Exudes humble confidence and a level of
situational self-awareness to listen, takes advice, and fosters a

- Bachelor's degree in HR / related discipline; Master's in HR/OD
or MBA preferred.Additional InformationThe expected annual pay
range for this position is $270,000 - $350,000. This position is
also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer
amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable
experience, and skillset of the candidate.Renesas offers a full
