Job Title: Community ManagerLocation: San Francisco, CAJob Type: Contract-to-HireCompensation: $30-$35/hourJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of an affordable housing property in San Francisco. This role is ideal for a motivated property management professional with a strong background in affordable housing compliance and a commitment to resident well-being. As a key member of the site team, the Community Manager will ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a high standard of resident satisfaction.Essential FunctionsProperty Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the property in compliance with internal policies and housing regulations.
  • Manage all aspects of lease administration, including Housing Quality Inspections (HQIs), rent calculations, subsidy tracking, and tenant certifications.
  • Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timely response to repair requests, preventive maintenance, and completion of work orders.Resident Relations
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, encouraging housing stability and community engagement.
    • Address resident concerns promptly, mediate conflicts, and ensure adherence to lease agreements and house rules.
    • Collaborate with resident services staff to identify resources and reduce barriers to long-term tenancy.Qualifications
      • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in property or affordable housing management (e.g., Tax Credit Certification) preferred.
      • Minimum of three years' experience in property management, ideally in supportive or affordable housing.
      • Proven experience supervising on-site staff including administrative and maintenance teams.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
      • Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
