Job Description:
Job Title: Fleet Service Manager
Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet
Service Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our
customers vehicles. The ideal candidate will ensure that all
vehicles are maintained in optimal condition, manage a team of
technicians and Planners, and implement efficient processes to
enhance fleet performance.
Key Responsibilities;- Manage the daily operations of the fleet
service department, ensuring timely and effective scheduling of all
technicians.- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and
procedures to maximize vehicle uptime and reliability.- Supervise
and train a team of technicians and planners, providing guidance
and support to enhance their skills and performance.- Monitor and
analyze fleet performance metrics, identifying areas for
improvement and implementing corrective actions.- Maintain accurate
records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections in
compliance with regulatory requirements.- Collaborate with other
departments to coordinate vehicle usage and ensure availability for
operational needs.- Manage inventory of parts and supplies, on
service vans.- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in
fleet management technology.
Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience in fleet management
or a related field.- Strong leadership and team management skills.-
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Knowledge
of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.- Proficient in using
fleet management software and tools.- Strong organizational and
time management skills.- Effective communication and interpersonal
skills.
