Job Description:

Our client is looking for an Art Director with specialized experience in social media and brand storytelling. We are seeking a talented creative with contributing insights and ideas to drive state of the art creative quality standards, reflecting creative best practices in social media, video and brand marketing.Art Director Responsibilities:* Develop creative storytelling concepts, visual direction, innovative ideation and creative solutions for programs including but not limited to brand and social creative* Consult on omni-channel programs as the creative expert for brand, social and video* Provide creative feedback and guidance to agencies and designers based on brand and social-first thinking to enhance the brand's social presence* Partner closely with brand and social team to understand the strategy and direction of the brand and social platforms, to ensure creative meets team objectives and vision* Partner with social team to drive creative content testing, including visuals, tone, length, copy, etc. to learn what most resonates with the audience across both organic and paid content* Support non-social/video programs as needed and as bandwidth allows* Partner with internal cross functioning teams & agency partners on development of assets and ensure brand consistency* Work to improve creative team's overall performance and embraces a collaborative approach; supports CD in process and creative developmentArt Director Requirements:* BFA in Communications Design, Graphic Design, or related field* 6-9 years previous design experience* 5+ years' experience in social media industry* Deep understanding of social media, including evergreen (organic), paid & measurement* Robust experience in social media content, video and motion graphics a must* Experience working on large, national brand campaigns is a plus* Proficiency in all social media platforms, best practices and trends* Extensive knowledge and experience leading creation of GIFs, videos, photography, stop motion* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)* Rich experience in retail brands and integrated omnichannel marketing (emphasis on social and video first, but some experience with email, web, in store and direct mail also required)JobID: 319338KK#LI-Cella#LI-KK1#LI-Remote
