experience. 2 years of experience with coding in C++, Python and
SQL or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree. 1 year of
experience with production systems. Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical
field. 2 years of experience with data center architecture. 2 years
of experience with control theory. 2 years of experience with
electrical systems. 2 years of experience with distributed systems.

the job Our mission as the Oversubscription/Power Capping team in
Data Center Infrastructure Management is to manage, leverage, and
advocate for power oversubscription to increase infrastructure
utilization safely. We develop software to monitor and control
power equipment and compute loads in Google's global fleet of data
centers. We use our telemetry and analyses to provide guidance to
cross-functional teams such as data center planning, scheduling,
operations and research and development on capacity creating
initiatives. Our team works on high impact projects and is
delivering Capital Expenditure (CapEx) savings in infrastructure
costs for Google. The US base salary range for this full-time
position is $147,000-$211,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary
ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the
range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Responsibilities Design and implement software systems for power
load predictive analysis and real-time power load control. Analyze
data center utilization, new product characteristics, and power
phenomenon. Work with other engineering teams including Data Center
Advanced Technology Innovation (DCTS), cluster management system,
cluster planning, data center design and execution to create
innovative power control designs. Work with data center users
including YouTube, Cloud, Logs, Search, and Ads to optimize the
power product, balancing power capacity with power
availability.
