committed to changing the world? Who You Are We are seeking a
highly analytical and experienced Senior Analyst to lead and
orchestrate our understanding of the global competitive landscape
and inform critical commercial decisions. This role is the single
point of accountability for competitive insights, and is critical
to translating competitor movements and market trends into
actionable strategies for the executive, Product, and Sales teams.
You are an expert individual contributor, comfortable driving
collaboration with leading technical experts, and translating
complex engineering data into clear commercial strategy.
Responsibilities and Duties Competitive Intelligence Orchestration:
Own the global CI program, coordinating efforts across Engineering
(teardowns/builds), Legal (IP analysis), and Commercial to maintain
a centralized, actionable knowledge base. Lead Deep-Dive
Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA): Independently structure and execute
complex TEA and technical benchmarking to quantify competitive
advantage, directly informing our internal cost and product
performance goals. Drive Strategic War Gaming and Planning: Lead
structured, cross-functional analyses (e.g., War Gaming) to
anticipate and model competitor strategic moves and market entry,
proactively providing executive recommendations. Commercial
Enablement: Translate complex CI insights into clear, actionable
commercial tools, such as sales battle cards and segment-specific
competitive training for the Commercial team to directly improve
win rates. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Education: Bachelor's
degree in an Engineering or similar field required; advanced degree
(MBA, MS) highly desirable. Experience: 2- 4 years of experience in
management consulting, corporate strategy, or a dedicated
market/competitive intelligence function, preferably within a
deep-tech, industrial, or energy sector. Technical Skills: Proven
expertise and hands-on experience in a Techno-Economic Modeling
(TEA) and advanced market research methodologies. Exceptional
proficiency in Excel/modeling tools and presentation software.
Communication: Demonstrated ability to operate as an expert
individual contributor, working autonomously to structure and
execute analysis, and presenting complex insights directly to
senior executive stakeholders. Physical Demands and Working
Conditions Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a
laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location The starting base
pay for this role is between $136,000 and $172,000 at the time of
posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as
education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of
Sila's competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits,
perks, and equity. The base pay range is subject to change and may
