Job Description:
Immediate Need for a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer --9 month
contract, pay rate $31.50/hr
Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine
problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in
the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and
assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints,
operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test
and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds
manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment
modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.
Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list,
of the usual duties associated with the position. Changes to
individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs.
- Typically requires general education, vocational training and/or
on-the-job training and a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related
experience; or equivalent.
