The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in our finance department, managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. We’re looking for a driven Senior Accountant who’s eager to grow their career and thrives with minimal supervision. AMAZING CULTURE Accelerated Career Growth Job Details Responsibilities: 1. Overseeing general ledger functions and the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. 2. Preparing and recording journal entries and accruals. 3. Managing fixed assets and maintaining the fixed asset register. 4. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 5. Assisting with the monthly reporting process, providing accurate and timely financial information to management. 6. Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. 7. Assisting with the year-end close process and preparing schedules for the annual audit. 8. Utilizing Sage Intacct software for various accounting tasks. 9. Collaborating with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting. Qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus. 2. A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry. 3. Proficiency in Sage Intacct or equivalent accounting software. 4. Strong knowledge of general ledger functions, balance sheet account reconciliation, and fixed asset accounting. 5. Excellent understanding of financial and accounting principles, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow. 6. Experience in preparing financial reports and conducting month-end and year-end closes. 7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
