success. Job Description We are seeking a Payroll Accountant to
join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in
overseeing and managing the payroll functions for both corporate,
commissary and restaurant employees. This role will utilize Paycor
to process payroll and handle all related responsibilities,
including tax calculations, deductions, and compliance with state
and federal labor laws. The Payroll Accountant will also work
closely with HR, Accounting and Finance, and department leaders to
ensure the smooth functioning of payroll systems and resolve any
discrepancies. In addition, the Payroll Accountant will be
responsible for Fixed Asset, Brand Development Fund and multiple
regional co-ops accounting and related financial reporting. You
will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to
deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key
Responsibilities • Oversee the Paycor payroll process for 1,300
employees across corporate, commissary and restaurant locations. •
Process bi-weekly payroll using Paycor, ensuring all hours worked,
tips, and bonuses are accurately calculated. • Ensure all payroll
data is entered correctly, including employee deductions, benefits
and garnishments. • Manage time and attendance records and ensure
the accuracy of time entries. • Ensure compliance with federal,
state, and local tax regulations, as well as labor laws, including
wage and hour regulations. • Generate payroll reports for
management, Accounting and Finance, and HR departments. • Stay
updated on changing payroll laws and ensure the business remains in
compliance. • Administer Paycor payroll system, including regular
updates, troubleshooting issues, and system maintenance. •
Collaborate with Paycor support to resolve system issues, payroll
discrepancies and report development. • Address employee inquiries
regarding payroll, deductions, 401k, and related matters in a
timely and professional manner. • Investigate and resolve payroll
discrepancies and issues, ensuring employees are paid accurately
and on time. • Maintain strict confidentiality and security
regarding payroll data and personal information. Work closely with
HR and Accounting and Finance departments to ensure smooth
coordination between payroll, benefits, and financial reporting.
Support department managers with payroll-related inquiries and
employee compensation issues. Assist in payroll audits and annual
compensation reviews. Handle 401k processing, reporting and annual
audit with external auditors. Monitor payroll processes and
recommend improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and
cost-effectiveness. Stay updated with payroll best practices,
technology, and tools to streamline payroll operations. Complete
Fixed Asset Accounting for Corporate, Commissary and Restaurant
locations. Responsible for the Brand Development Fund and various
Co-Ops Accounting, Financial Reporting and monthly Marketing
review. Required Qualifications: Extensive experience with Paycor
or similar payroll systems. In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, tax
regulations, and compliance requirements (federal, state, and
local). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting
tools. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and
the ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving
skills and the ability to handle complex payroll issues. Ability to
maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with
professionalism. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting and/or Business Administration, or a related field
(preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll
management, preferably with a combination of corporate and
restaurant payroll experience. Work Environment & Location:
Location: Onsite. Work from home on Fridays. Travel: Minimal
