Responsibilities for the Unit Recruiter job include:

• Establishes hourly workforce recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers and other human resources personnel to discuss needs.

• Helps build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and Internet sites; providing organization information and opportunities; making presentations and maintaining rapport.

• Collaborates with Operations to understand job descriptions and corresponding qualifications required of job candidates.

• Conducts and supervises applicant intake process.

• Evaluates applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.

• Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; coaching managers on compliance; recommending new procedures; conducting training.

• Maintains applicant and position data using tools required.

• Ensures that weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting

• Experience in transportation, hospitality, manufacturing or food service environment highly desirable

• Multi-lingual skills highly desirable

• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment law

• Position requires experience and skills in:

o Interviewing

o Phone communication

o Business partnering

o Relationship building

o Analysis

o Time management

o Prioritizing multiple projects/tasks

Pay for this position is $50K per year depending on experience and education. This is a direct hire opportunity.
